Congratualtions to the Chargers. Bring home the title They are our only representation in the CWS after unsuccessful postseasons for GT and UGA (and other GA schools).

The Chargers beat the Oklahoma Gators 9-5 in the elite 8. In the semifinal game against the Bakersfield Bombers their pitching finally ran out of gas and the bats went quiet and they lost 10-1. By virtue of beating the #4 and #5 seed they were awarded 3rd place overall out of the 34 teams participating. Great weekend Chargers.
