I would wait until the brackets are finalized before making those picks. Very possible 3 of the 4 mentioned could end up on the same side of the bracket.
The "Rocks" dominated the field - never lost a game. Won final over Mill Creek 9 - 3. Thats not entirely true ,they did lose a game and it was to Millcreek 4-1 . It was a pool game but never the less it was a loss just the same . Thats not to say that the Shamrocks are not a quality ball club but they werent the only good team there .
Who cares about pool play. Shamrock pitchers threw a No hitter in that pool game, but walks and pass balls is how the Hawks scored. However, both of these teams are good ball clubs and it seems they always get matched up together somehow. Maybe the tournaments can mix them up a little bit better. Teams don't usually show up to this type of event if they weren't good, but on that day the Shamrocks were better. Good luck to all the other teams going to AAU and Cooperstown.
The point is The Shamrocks didnt go undefeated . The game we are talking about was a battle of the pitchers, and the Shamrocks only had 1 hit (SO the Hawks must have played better defense ) .The point was simply that the Shamrocks didnt totally dominate the tournament . They had a loss, it dosent matter how.Again they are a great club with good boys and good coaches and well respected as well as fun to play .
