I'm thinking Mets as well. Very strong pitching staff and their hitting is just way too hot right now.

Royals will build off of last year's game seven loss to take it in six.

Watched KC throughout the entire playoffs and that team was simply on a mission to rid themselves of the bad taste left from last season's game 7 loss. It didn't matter who the closer was. Seven times this postseason they were down two or more runs and came back to win.

I thought this was a fantastic World Series but how do you think it ranks all time?

Depends on how old you are. :)

The 1975 Reds-Red Sox series was just unbelievable, especially Game 6. That was probably the best one I ever saw. I don't see how even a compelling series that only goes 5 can rank as one of the all time greats, but since we moved here from KC, we loved it.

Honestly, I think they are all fantastic unless one of the teams just craters and gets swept.

A few that come to mind...

Joe Carter's walkoff

The 'Mystique and Aura' series was amazing...and yes, Schilling was right, they were only dancers.

1986 Mets/Red Sox.

The Yankees/Dodgers (Martin/Lasorda) battles of the late 70's early 80's were exciting. Yes, I am old!

Had the potential to be a great one, but it wasn't. Like bballman said, Royals are good!
