I'm thinking Mets as well. Very strong pitching staff and their hitting is just way too hot right now. |

Royals will build off of last year's game seven loss to take it in six. |

Watched KC throughout the entire playoffs and that team was simply on a mission to rid themselves of the bad taste left from last season's game 7 loss. It didn't matter who the closer was. Seven times this postseason they were down two or more runs and came back to win.

I thought this was a fantastic World Series but how do you think it ranks all time? |

Depends on how old you are. :)
The 1975 Reds-Red Sox series was just unbelievable, especially Game 6. That was probably the best one I ever saw. I don't see how even a compelling series that only goes 5 can rank as one of the all time greats, but since we moved here from KC, we loved it.
Honestly, I think they are all fantastic unless one of the teams just craters and gets swept. |

A few that come to mind...
Joe Carter's walkoff
The 'Mystique and Aura' series was amazing...and yes, Schilling was right, they were only dancers.
1986 Mets/Red Sox.
The Yankees/Dodgers (Martin/Lasorda) battles of the late 70's early 80's were exciting. Yes, I am old!

Had the potential to be a great one, but it wasn't. Like bballman said, Royals are good! |
