Any recommendations for a QUALITY bat/catcher's gear bag? Tired of my son toting 2 backpack bags. I'm ready to consolidate to one-- wheeled preferably. I've seen plenty of negative reviews online about durability, so I thought I'd ask here.

Thanks.

I know they get a bad rep online but the "no errors" bag has held up the best hands down, and the huge solid wheels are awesome on any terrain. MANY other bags either tear up on the bottom, or the back cardboard panel folds and it makes the bag go crazy. My son used the no-error bag for an entire year and he had zero problems with zippers or the bag itself. Last year the park he played at forced him to get a a specific manufacturers bag...it didn't go well. For tryouts in June he put everything back into his no-errors bag.

The only downside is...well it says "NO ERRORS" which isn't even possible for any baseball player on the planet, so it can lead to some friendly jabs by fellow players when the kid does make an actual error.

How old is he? Most of the older ages go to a backpack bag for bats, batting helmets, etc... and a duffle bag for the catchers gear. Walk around Lakepointe or East Cobb when 15+ are playing and you'll see little to not rolling bags. A - They're not durable, they always develop a hole at the bottom and B - They are old enough to tote some gear around.

Both of my kids have wheeled Boombah catcher's bags that have lasted 2 seasons.

My son caught for several years and never had a bag last more than a couple of seasons. He had several Rawlings bags (played at ECB so didn't have much choice), a No Errors, an AllStar and a Boombah. Surprisingly the Boombah held up best. Most of them developed holes on the bottom from dragging over steps, etc. The zippers on the No Errors broke, which surprised me. If your son is a catcher, might as well plan on buying a new beg every couple of years.

Boombah, he has used last couple of years and held up well and he is pretty rough on equipment too.

He's 8. He can do the back pack with ease, and has a spare for the gear (yes it's small enough to fit in a back pack), but he can't wear two back packs at once, plus tote water, etc. Hence the 'wheeled' feature. When he's 4' something and weighs 60 something, I can't expect him to tote a duffle bag.

Check with his team to see what they are supposed to use first. But we all got new Boombah bags last season and it has held up well.........Would recommend a Boombah bag if the only requirement is gonna be the color for him to get.

I don't know any bag that will last for more than two seasons at best, bottom line is like everyone has said they get holes kids beat on them etc. I bought the Easton Stealth bag, it was reasonably priced and lasted as long as most of the others and had lots of room for catchers gear and all the other stuff. The only real issue was it only held 1 bat.
