Are there any general guidelines or rules as to how long a pitcher should ice there arm after an outing?

Well, there are several schools of thought on the subject. If you do an internet search you will find that icing has actually been objected to by many experts.

I posted that question on another board because I was shocked there were 12u kids icing their arm. Here is a link to that question:
