Bats are a big topic around the parks and I wanted to know what everyone's kids favorite bat was. My son likes the Orange Stealth and it seems like the more he uses it the harder it hits the ball.
I see the exos, blue stealths and Tritons alot now but haven't decided what he wants to swing next season.

My son's favorite was the Blue Louisville Slugger Dynasty. Several of the players on the Astros were talking about this bat last weekened and said it had been their's too. I know two years ago, our team had 5 or 6 kids on the team that had them. It was a great bat.

My older son likes the Demarini Voodoo and my younger son likes the Omaha Blue Dynasty he used 2 years ago. Still hasn't found a bat he likes better but he can't use it in his age group now.

Greg - my son has an older drop 5 green and gold Dynasty that seems to hit hard. Any idea which bat this was (ie: year) in relation to the blue you all have touched on? Any way you shake it - can't even find them any more! Strong & Durable bat seemingly!

Stealth when it has aged. It is better for strong kids.

The green and gold drop 5 Dynasty was the same year as the blue one. My youngest boy loved the blue one so we got the green and gold when he moved up to the drop 5. You are right, you can't find them anymore.

Nate has one of the green -5 Dynasty bats and loves it. It hits really good. He is ready to move on to the -5 Exo though. The -5 Exo has alot more pop than even that green Dynasty has.

Yep, ask my son and he'll say "my old blue Dynasty". He's pretty happy with the Exo he's swinging now as well.

Walt,
This doesn't have anything to do with the Astros. I just mentioned it in passing in that it was funny several of them were talking about the same subject this past weekend.

As for cracking with the Exo or green Dynasty, I have not heard of anyone having one crack or dent (not that it has not happened, I just have not heard of any).

The Catalysts crack and fracture easily.

How are they against the EXO in that regard?

We have owned four Exo-grids and we only had to replace one because the paint chipped off. The integrity of the bat was not compromised, in that there was no dent or crack, just the paint flaked off on the sweet spot. We have owned four Dynasty bats and only one was sent back for cracking. Happened late June, so it was not cold weather related.

Blue Dynasty (9U,10U) and White Exo(11U) were my son's favorites. Still using white Exo at 12U but playing 13U and 14U.
