Read a post about Dugout Chatter and was wondering what most thoughts are on High School coaches not allowing facial hair or long hair on a baseball team or making everyone where their pants the same way?
I understand being a team and wearing the same uniform but if you look at some College and pro teams and players you see guys with different height pants, different facial hair and how they wear their hats. I think it's a comfort thing and if I was coaching I would want my players to be more comfortable than looking like robots or twins. What do you think. Can a high school coach in GA make kids cut their hair?

It is called the "Yankee's way". I say let the coach determine that, people that like a tight ship will gravitate towards that, I prefer the other route. Facial hair did not seem to hurt the A's back in the day.

I think it's an individual coach's preference. The Yankees don't allow facial hair. Obviously, Boston doesn't mind. Some coaches allow it, some don't. I don't think it's a big deal either way. Players should follow the rules of the team. That in itself brings cohesiveness.
