On behalf of the Tournament Committee and Triple Crown Sports, I am pleased to be able to share the charity contributions from the 2013 Slugfest Tournament.
$3,150 to EACH of the following five charities: Miracle League of Forsyth County, Forsyth Special Olympics, Forsyth Human Society, Family Haven of Forsyth County and the Will To Live Foundation.
A 6th charity, yet to be finalized, will also receive a donation of $3,150.
$6,300 to Northside Hospital Forsyth
$6,300 to Childrens Healthcare of Atlanta
The total charity contribution for 2013 is $31,500.
This brings the total charity contributions from this tournament to over $170,000 since the tournament began 7 years ago.
None of this would be possible withhout the support from each of the participating teams and Triple Crown Sports....THANK YOU !!
This years tournament saw more participating teams than ever before with 286 teams, ages 8 through 14.
