What is the best baseball vehicle that will not break the bank on gas, but also be comfortable to travel with all the gear. Our sons play multiple positions and so we usually are also carrying a separate catchers bag along with chairs, coolers, etc.
Currently driving an older suburban and love it, except it is getting older and burns too much gas. We are not really wanting a new full size SUV(50K) to haul kids around in with muddy clothes and gear. My wife really does not want a van(My preference).
Looking for a vehicle that has room, without terrible gas milage. And dont want to spend so much money, that you feel like you have to strip the kids down before they get in the car.
One option is to keep the Suburban loaded for baseball and buy a separate car for personal use,but the gas mileage is awful.
What works best, van, car, any particular mid size Suv? Any suggestions? |

Love my Toyota Sienna, back seats flip and fold under leaving plenty of room for all the gear, coolers, etc.. Good gas mileage. |

Best $ I spent last year on a used low miles baseball van. Better mileage, more room for boys and equipment and I don't worry about the field dirt being deposited 2-3 times a week like I did with newer vehicle. |

We kept our Tahoe, for big trips. But our daily driver is an Equinox. Great gas mileage, lots of hard, washable surfaces inside that holds up well against dirt and equipment. Under 24K. Holds 4 comfortably, but not as comfotably as the Tahoe :( And gear for 2, 2 sport boys |

When my son was 7 someone who had been through travel baseball told me to buy an old pull behind camper when my son started travel baseball. Best money I ever spent. I bought an Old Trans Van, have never had to spend money on hotels and my son still gets to hang out in the hotel and pool with the team. Took it to Cooperstown 2 times. |
