"Big Shanty Showdown II" 8U Kid Pitch - Travel
Dates: May 24-27, 2012
Hosted by the Kennesaw Generals 12U Travel Team (we'll be having a 12U travel tourney at the same time)
This tournament is for 8U travel teams and will be an 8-10 team open tournament played at Adam’s Park. It will be a "transitional 9U" tournament played under USSSA rules for 9U (with some possible modifications for this tournament). The tournament will be a (3) game minimum, with (2) pool play games and a single elimination bracket tournament. The first (8-10) teams to register and pay will be entered in the tournament, so don’t be left out...REGISTER NOW!!
Tournament entry fee: $375 (no individual gate fee)
Location: Adams Park, Kennesaw, GA
Classification: Open
Format: 3 game minimum (2 pool play; single elimination bracket)
Rules: USSSA (with some modifications), playing 9U rules
Each team responsible for two (2) game balls per game
Team and Individual trophies awarded to 1st and 2nd place)
Great ball fields maintained between games, excellent concession stand,
Wi-Fi, and covered seating.
