We have a possible spot opening up in this event due to a team not being able to make the trip to GA. Like last year, this tournament will feature 48 teams from all around the southeast so it's a chance for your team to play against squads that you may never see again.
Here are some details:
1. 12u age group only.
2. 4 game minimum.
3. Format:
a) Teams will be split into 12 4-team pools with each team playing the other 3 teams in their pool once(essentially a round robin).
b) After pool play, the top 2 teams in each pool plus 8 wildcards(determined by USSSA tiebreakers) will be seeded into one single elimination bracket). The remaining 16 teams will be seeded into a separate single elim. bracket.
c) 1st and 2nd place winners in each bracket will receive player awards plus some super bragging rights.
4. WOOD BAT only this year. Teams to provide their own bats. ECB will have vendors on site selling high quality wood bats to any team that needs them. NO COMPOSITE WOOD BATS WILL BE ALLOWED.
5. USSSA sanctioned so their gameplay and roster rules will apply.
6. Scores and innings pitched will be updated online in real time.
7. Tournament directors will be on site for the entire event.
8. All local teams will be asked to play one pool game on Tues, Wed or Thurs and the other 2 on Fri and/or Sat. Out of state teams can begin pool play on Friday if unable to arrive earlier.
9. Registration fee remains the same as last year: $525
