Big Fly Atlanta Baseball Tryout Information:
Big Fly is hosting open tryouts for its 2023/2024 season for ages 17 and under. We are seeking athletes that can compete in higher level tournaments and are interested in being seen by college coaches.
Coaching Staff:
Big Fly is led by Chan English who has served as a Varsity Head Baseball coach for 25 years competing in state playoffs 14 out of 15 years at Dunwoody High School (6A/7A regions). He was voted Region Coach of the Year three times with the most recent honor awarded in 2022. He has assisted numerous players in reaching opportunities at the collegiate level, including 6 players that have signed with Professional Baseball teams. Chan is assisted by former minor league player, Wayne Simmons and Georgia Hall of Fame Coach, Donnie English, top 5 all-time baseball win record in Georgia, first baseball coach in Cobb County to reach 500 wins, with over 60 players earning scholarships at the collegiate level and 13 players that have signed with Professional Baseball teams. Johnathan Langley, former Los Angeles Dodgers bullpen catcher and collegiate coach, will also be working with pitchers and catchers.
Fall Schedule:
Beginning the end of August, athletes will attend several collegiate showcase camps in the Southeast and will participate in 2-3 tournaments. (Perfect game, PBR)
Summer Schedule:
Beginning in mid-May, athletes will participate in weekly practices and up to 8 tournaments.

* When: 08/05: 10am to 1:00pm*
*Makeup tryouts will be scheduled by appointment only.
