Bubba - you asked at the end of Nov for the top 4 teams in a couple of age groups (which drew a lot of feedback) for a GA vs. FL tournament. Do you have an update for us? Who? Where? When?
There has already been something put in place about 3 to 4 weeks ago. However last time I looked I saw the Bandits entered in this and now no longer see them. I wonder why? The newest team added to this is the Badboys who beat MBA in an AAU Championship game here about a week ago. Both teams threw their aces.
The Bandits were going to participate until the tournament was moved to Easter weekend. We just don't play on Easter weekend.
I have to say that this tournament field looks great for the 12u division though. Is the Bad Boys Baseball team going to be this year's sleeper kind of like Lynnhaven was last year?
I took a look at the other ages and it looks like there are few spots to be filled. Are these going to be played in during the 1st couple of tournaments?
Yeah the Bad Boys revamped their team and in my opinion have one of the top 5 pitchers in the country. This kid throws some GAS and has a nasty curve ball to go with it. Its almost unfair when sitting on his fastball and he throws that curve for a strike.
