Team GA Baseball Academy will be conducting open tryouts for its 2019/2020 academy teams for 11u players. Team GA tryouts will be conducted by Chris McRaney, Taylor Morton, Randy Phares, and Matt Campbell, along with assistance from other Team GA coaches. Tryouts will occur at 5PM Sunday August 18th at Riverwood H.S. (Sandy Springs).
The 11u team will receive professional coaching from TGBA staff and will be led on game days by Michael Cross, who has coached advanced travel teams and middle school teams at older ages for many years. The team will also focus on building toward the 12u Cooperstown trip.

Are you uncertain as to whether your 11u team will actually form? Did you realize after trying out that the players actually on the team aren't at the level you thought? Are you concerned about whether the team will ACTUALLY go to Cooperstown Dreams Park at 12u? Did the practice field get changed to a further location than you expected? Did you just move to the area?
It doesn't really matter the reason if it's a good one. If you have a kid who loves baseball, if you want an environment that will challenge your favorite player to become better in a supportive environment, and if you're interested in working with an academy that teaches the great lessons of baseball and has helped many players play college and professional baseball, come join us this Sunday, August 18th.
Our team will be based in the Alpharetta area. We'll have a fairly light schedule for the fall - we expect players to play other sports throughout the fall and winter - and compete throughout the north metro area during the spring and early summer. Our goal is to build a team that loves the game, supports each teammate, and desires to get better with each play, each at bat, and each practice.
Our coaching staff includes professional instructors who worked with players at the highest levels and a head coach who has six kids who have played travel baseball and softball.

| We've had a great response through the tryout yesterday and the private workouts we've discussed. We've plenty of players to form a team, but we're aware there are teams that have determined in the last day or two that there simply are not enough players to form a team. We want to give as many players as possible a fair chance to make the team. This team will be a high AA / AAA team. If you've learned your team won't form, or if you've just become interested in joining a travel team in the north Fulton / south Forsyth area, please register or send a message. |

A second round of tryouts will occur this Sunday (8/25) at the softball field at Riverwood International Charter School, 5900 Raider Drive, Sandy Springs, GA 30328. This will include some players being asked to return for additional work and new players. If you've not already registered, please register at the link set forth above.
