The Georgia Roadrunners are looking towards the 2011 season and looking to continue the tremendous success of the current 2010 13U team by gathering talented players for Two Elite 14U GA Roadrunner teams that will compete in the 2011 season.
Our objective is to play over 70 games of Elite level tournament baseball including National events, and finish the season playing in a sanctioned World Series Tournament (TBD).
The Manager of the current Roadrunners is Paul Byrd, former major league pitcher with 14 years of experience. Paul will be joined this coming season by Peter Bergeron, former MLB Player with 12 years of Pro experience and coach of the National Champion 18U Georgia Roadrunner Travel Team and current coach at King's Ridge Christian School
The newest 14U Roadrunner team will be Managed by Michael Barrett, former major league catcher with over 12 year of MLB experience. Michael will be joined by Kenny James, who spent 9 seasons in professional baseball after being selected by the Montreal Expos with the 87th overall pick in 1995.
We will be playing out of American Legion Field in Alpharetta and will conduct our winter workouts at Michael Barrett's state of the art indoor facility. See link below.

The Roadrunner baseball program has a long history of developing players to play the highest level of baseball. Peter Bergeron’s 2009 Roadrunner class received 23 college scholarships and among those players, 6 were drafted by Major League teams.
Along with the 14U teams, the Roadrunners also field a very talented rising 13U team that has been together since they were nine years old. Much is expected from these boys for years to come. You can find out more about the GA Roadrunners by going to: http://www.eteamz.com/georgiaroadrunners/
