USA Today Top 25 HS Baseball Teams:
West Coast 8 Teams Midwest 4 Teams Southwest area 4 Teams FLA 3 Teams East Coast NY MD 2 Mountain Zone 2
TN 1 GA 1 (squeeked in at #25)
Would suggest you visit these Baseball mecca's prior to posting you have the best team, best player, best competition, and etc. GA like every other state has good travel Baseball, however certainly not the best in the country. |

Either this is a flame to get people hot or one of the dumbest posts of the year. Not sure if it's really worth a response but here is a short one . . . travel baseball is not equal to HS baseball. |

I personally dont give much weight to high school rankings. First there is no real criteria for these rankings and second they are based strictly on opinion. Also lets not forget that high school baseball is not what it use to be with the explosion of travel baseball. There are a lot of high school teams out there right now that would be smoked by travel ball teams. You have whats considered good HS teams out there with only a couple of elite players, you have travel ball teams with a full roster of elite players.
The talent pool in HS is too thin team wise when comparing those teams to travel ball select teams. Not that we would ever find out but I am willing to bet that a 18u travel team out of Florida I know of would SMOKE that #1 team ranked by USA Today.

Interesting how you lump the other regions together to show multiple teams but you show the SE regions by state only. I would assume if you look by region the SE is as competitive as any. |

Oops, I deleted it by mistake, now it will remain a mystery for the ages. Something to do with who's the best, another area I pretend to be an expert in. Hope Peanutjr is well and having the time of his life playing baseball with Dad cheering him on. It was priceless when he called me out for posting so much.

Humility at it's finest. Moser posting as usual offering up his expertise as a master statistician, ignoring the fact that it is post #1,000. Congrats Bill, looking forward to the next 1,000.

One might suggest that the competition is so good in Ga that it is very difficult for a team to go thru their schedule with stumbling a time or 2...unlike other areas of the country...just saying |
