| I have two sons that play 13u travel. One is a lefty, plays center, 1B and pitches. The other is a righty, plays 2nd, OF and pitches. They are both quick line drive/gap hitters. Looking for more baseball..travel season is wrapping up. Looking for strong AAA or Major level team. Would like to keep them together but will split them up for the right opportunity. |

The SCRA AAA 14u Eagles are finalizing their roster for 2011. We play out of Woodstock GA and are looking for 5 spots to fill. We had a very successful first year as a new AA/AAA travel team and will be moving to the AAA rankings. We have already started try outs and players from East Cobb, Rockies, Holly Springs as well as Sandy Plains have tried out.
Season highlights: 2010 Record: 31 – 22 - 2.
2010 FCA Bring’em Home Champions
2010 USTBA Stars & Stripes Champions
3 Third Places Finishes
Tryouts for the 2011 travel season: Saturday July 17th 9:30 – 11:30
Location: SCRA Eagles home field in Woodstock (South Cherokee Recreation Association).
We are looking for impact players with the following attributes:
· Positive Attitude/Leadership/Good Baseball IQ)
· Pitchers (60% + strikes, minimum of 3 pitches)
· Outfield (speed/good arm strength)
· Infield – good range/aggressiveness
· Catcher (excellent blocker + strong arm)

Rod Davenport's 13u Hawks Major team (formerly Mill Creek; currently Signature Park) is holding OPEN Try Outs on Saturday, July 31 @ EE Robinson Park, located at 850 Level Creek Road, Sugar Hill, GA from 10am-12pm. Players MUST register online at
www.sphawks.com/registration . Rain make up will be Sunday, 8/1 at same location, but 1-3pm. Hope to see you there! |

| I don't know if you have found a team for your sons but if you have not the Baseball Group is looking for a couple of kids to round out our two 13u major/aaa teams. we have a paid trainer. a indoor facility. Cherokee FURY baseball out of Ball Ground, GA is a competitive AAA program (3rd place USSSA Sey Hey Kid Classic last weekend). We are recruiting a couple of players for the spring for a potential move to Major. Please email me at rjones@cherokeefury.com to discuss our your kids and i can share with you details about the program and the 4 or 5 ECB major players that have joined us this year....
