It seems like the 11U age group has more teams than any other age group. This is reflected by the number of posts and reads on this forum.

Is this not typical of what happens? The # of teams goes up as this age group steps out of rec ball to try their hand at travel. Then the # of teams goes down as they get older and many lose interest and only the really didicated are left as they make their way towards high school ball.

ECB Titans and Team Georgia are in the USSSA Super NIT this weekend down on the south side along with Georgia Jackets Gold, Sandtown, etc. I see 643 Cougars in the 12u for this TC March Mayhem.

Any early predictions on the final four for this tourney?

I have to see the pool match ups first. Should be spread out so anybodies tournament. They should have Jags, Astros, Homeplate, and Stars in seperate pools. Rest are all even.

Tony,
If you pay entry fee at one park will the other parks honor the fee that was paid on the same day or do we have to pay @ multiple parks?

I see the Astros are in this tourament and Rocky has them #1. They don't have a USSSA roster. Where did they come from. Are they a combination of prior team? Looking forward to seeing them play.

I will give it a try....

ecb astros
643 jags
hp lawson

next pick will be from any of these.
venom
sandy plains
ecb luck
midway
storm baseball
hp black
duluth wildcats.
ECB STARS

***This is a very good tournament. there are so many teams that can beat each other depending on pitching match ups. Should be a great tournament.*** These teams are so evenly matched in this tournament some good teams might not make it to the gold bracket. Pool play games will mean something this weekend for many of these teams.

Great day for baseball. Sandy Plains Wildcats played a heck of game tonight against the EC Luck. They stayed in the ball game and didn't give up. We play the winner of the 643 Jags and Powder Springs Indians. Good luck Wildcats.

What a great baseball weekend. Home Plate Chilidogs-Lawson had a fantastic baseball weekend. 6 Home Runs which included a grand slam. Made it to the semi finals and lost out to the jags. Way to go Chilidogs!

Let me tell you all out there that this Chili-dog Lawson team can flat out hit. We threw everything but the kitchen sink at them, and they just kept hitting it harder and harder. We worked them in/out, up/down, changed speeds from slow to slower to slowest, went lefty-righty, and finally just ran out of stuff to throw at them.

Besides last years 10U Glory and Bay Bombers, and the 2008 Mill Creek Dixie Youth Pee Wee State champs, this is the hardest hitting group I've seen.

Man, was it hard to leave ATPP and EC to finish up elsewhere. Our boys and families were all oohing and ahhing at ATPP and EC. We became spoiled very quickly.

Moser , you are right about this, Against us they hit two solo homers and a grand slam that landed on top of the dugout on the field above us and just missed clearing it by about 6 inches, the pitcher they threw at us was also very good. he shut us down for 4 innings. Very good team, good defense, well coached. When they hit their mid season stride you better watch out!

The Silver bracket semi's and finals were played at a softball field in Roswell. I supposed EC didn't have enough fields to get them all in there. We made it to the Silver bracket finals, but then the rains came and washed all the little Warriors hopes away.

Wills Park Warriors were awarded the Silver bracket crown based upon whatever criteria TC uses when games cannot be played. They had better stats than our Warriors did evidently.
