The first Wolfpack tryouts will take place this Saturday July 15th beginning at 9AM at Oregon Park on Field 8 and on Thursday July 20th at 6:30 PM at Oregon Park on Field 8. OP is located at 145 Old Hamilton Rd. Marietta, Ga 30064.
We currently have a grandfathered certificate to Cooperstown for next summer.
After a sucessful AAA season last year, the Wolfpack is looking to add 1-2 talented players to the roster. Pitching will be a key focus for these tryouts in addition to each of the other elements of the game.
The Wolfpack utilizes professional coaches during both practices and games to maximize player development as well as increase the success of the team.
Coaching Staff
Head Coach- Matt Griffin
- 9-year college Baseball Head Coach at Southern Polytechnic University(SPSU)
- Frmr Athletic Director at Southern Polytechnic University and Asst. Athletic Director at Kennesaw State University
- 15+ years of college level coaching
- Played professional ball the Cubs organization
- Played college baseball at Southern Polytechnic University
Assistant Coach- Scott Creel
- 3-time All-Conference player at Southern Poly, recipient of both Bachelor's and Master's from SPSU in addition to academic honors
- Played college baseballl at Jacksonville State and Southern Poly: SPSU Hall of Famer
- Former Harrison High School All-State team member
- Currently Head Coach of 15U East Cobb Colt 45's and Asst. Coach of 13U East Cobb Astros
- Focused on developing infield and hitting
Assistant Coach- Jason Creel
- Current MABL Catcher/Outfielder
- 4 year starter at Augusta State and Jacksonville State Universities
- Current Asst. Coach of East Cobb 15U Colt 45's
- Studied catching at Harrison High School under HOFer Bruce Sutter
- Focused on developing Catchers and Outfielders
