I couldnt agree with you more MYSMITTY, I cant wait to get it going. Are you the little skinny fellow that wears the John Deer hat and has a wod of keys hanging from your belt?
Welcome mysmitty! We've been needing a poster from down that way for a while now. Glad you joined us. Why the references to Homeplate and Chili in the teams names down that way?
When you talk about the southside there are a couple of more teams you might want to consider. Gamers Red & Blue. The red is a make-up of them from last year and PTB Elite and a kid from Macon (I think.) The Blue is a new team but they have tons of pitching.
bturner:I just wanted to to talk about the few teams i know something about and i dont really know any thing about the gamers. chiefknockahoma I might be that person but I am no different than anyone else I just enjoy the kids on anybody teams.I just enjoy the game.
mysmitty: Don't worry too much about chiefnokahoma. We do not profile on this site and he is still mad that the Braves and Warriors refused to quit using the Indian names.
Smitty, I guess we better include Sandtown in the southside discussion as well. The coach and the parents are a great group of people. They are as a sound group of young men south of the Bandits. I have been watching them play since they were 7. #22 is a stud. I cant believe Papa and the Bandits have not offered him one of those Lane Kiffin early scholarships.
There are many of the Sandtown players that can play with anyone, Bandits especially. Papa tends to let the other teams earn their respect and Sandtown has always been of my favorite and certainly most athletic team I have had the privlege of watching play the game. I don't how the schedules did not allow us to play each last year but I am still not over the epic battle of 2 years ago that was a war in itself. Trust me when I tell you than Sandtown 11U can play the game.
