Atlanta Premier Baseball is pleased to announce that we will have a 12U travel team for the 2017/18 season. This is team will have a small core of current players returning and seeking to add 8-9 through tryouts & build a solid AA/AAA offering for the 2017/18 season with the plans of going to Cooperstown NY next July. We will practice out of the Duluth/Johns Creek/Norcross area of town and will practice one night a week and have (2) 4 hour practices on 2 Sunday(s) each month during the season. Our team will be led by two coaches: a paid assistant coach (former baseball player) as well as a volunteer Head Coach with 30+ years of baseball experience and former player out of the East Cobb Baseball program. We will play a 4-5 tournament schedule load this Fall, as well as weekday scrimmages, and then a heavy schedule of practices and tournaments when we start back up next Jan commencing w/a trip to Cooperstown. The focus of instruction will be core fundamentals and proper technique, with the emphasis on getting better at the game and playing it the right way. We will also teach your son how to understand how to play the game the right way through solid mental approach(s). Your son will have his best year yet at the sport should he make this team.

We will play no DADDY ball- none zero with a $ back guarantee if we do! There will be one coach that has a kid on the team and he doesn't pitch, play SS, 3B, or Catcher! The paid coach and the Coach Todd will jointly collaborate on who plays were. Playing time will be earned this Fall as all of our boys will get a shot at the position they want to play in the Spring.

We are also not affiliated w/an indoor batting cage, hitting facility, lesson(s) house, etc. We are not in this to make $$$$. Our efforts are aligned with your son's and want to see your son get better at this great game without spending a small fortune to do so. We have a great relationship with the Wilson Corporation and will be using their products this year to keep costs very affordable. Wilson owns the following brands in our sport: Wilson, DeMarini, Louisville Slugger, and EvoShield. I have more information on this when you get in touch w/me about attending tryouts, but be aware that each player will get a nice package of Wilson products.

Tryouts will be as follows:

July 23rd from 12-230pm at Dunwoody High School
July 30th from 12-2:30pm at Dunwoody HS
August 6th from 12-230pm at Dunwoody HS

Dunwoody HS is located at 1877 Vanderlyn Dr Dunwoody GA 30338.

Please be sure to call/text or email us if you plan to attend tryouts. Also reach out to us should you have any further questions.
