Tournament: Javy Lopez 1st Annual Wood Bat Classic, sponsored by Bones Bat Co. & North Gwinnett Baseball Softball Assoc. (NGBSA)
Play baseball the way it used to be played, with a wood bat!
Date: April 30th-May 2nd.
Location: George Pierce Park, Suwanee, GA.
Open Classifications: 8u(kid pitch), 9u, 10u, 11u, 12u, 13u, 14u.
Fees: 8u $375, 9u-10u $400, 11u-14u, $425 (NO GATE FEES)
4 team minimum for bracket to make. 12 team maximum per age group.
Format: 2 pool games seeded into single elimination bracket. 3 game minimum.
8u-may separate into all-star & travel division, depending on number of teams entered. Friday games will not be scheduled unless necessary to complete the tournament by Sunday.
Each team will receive two Bones Bats and players/coaches will receive a free tournament t-shirt.
Javy Lopez will give a free hitting clinic for all tournament players on Saturday.
Team trophies and player awards for the 1st place and runner-up.
