The 11U Scorpions split is confirmed by their try-outs posted for 11/20 - I'm hearing that the same stuff that unfortunately split up the very competitive 9U Rebels two years ago is at the core of this break up too. Most of the players and both assistant coaches have left from what I understand. They were a very good team - hopefully the kids find a good baseball home.
Where will the new team play out of? I would imagine it will be tough to get players this late in the process for the adcock team. Are there 12 major caliber players still looking for a team? Sad to see a team fold that was having a good run this fall.
I can't sort the Scorpions situation out. There are many posts here and in another thread that express many varying opinions and pass the blame over a large contingent of people and situations. I think in the best interest of the players involved, that these posts not be made public and that we let them settle down and get ready for a new baseball season. I hope everyone understands.
