Since we seem to be in a need for a new topic, I was interested to know which teams have enough 8th graders to be able to start playing tournaments in Feb and March, and which ones will have to wait until later in April.

There are 9 14U tournaments between Feb and May that I could quickly find.

TC Spring Frost (Feb 26-28)
SF Slugfest (Mar 5-7)
Nations Baseball (Mar 12-14)
TC March Mayhem (Mar 19-21)
USSSA WS Qualifier (Mar 26-28)
USSSA WS Qualifier (Apr 1-3)
TC Back to School (Apr 16-18)
USTBA Spring Nat. (Apr 23-25)
Astros Invitational (Apr 30-May 2)

I think i saw a wooden bat one in January as well. Sad part is your list has about 4 organizations that you have to join to play them all.

We will probably do usssa tourneys as soon as one makes

Whit,
Take advantage of "3 or more events..."discount and it would be only $445 per tournament.

I would rather tournaments just give a straight up good price and not play all the discount games. I have done all the expensive elite type tournaments in the past, now i look for value and good venue's.

I will say most TC tourneys are well run but %550 is a lot for 3GG

Whits: Good point.

Anyone rather play scrimmage games? Cheaper! Shoot me an email and let's play.

Our team (Forsyth Outlaws) will be playing four team round robins at our park on the weekends thru the beginning of April. We have too many players on school teams. By doing this we control cost and can schedule quality teams. As well, we do not have to worry about fielding a complete team for those early season tournaments. If your team is interested in a round robin call 770-294-5832 or email emccurle@bellsouth.net or higg@tmo.blackberry.net
