I could not find the definitive distance in the USSSA rules for 8U kid pitch. I saw a listing that said 40' for 7U and 8U and then 44' for 9U. But when my other boys played travel ball at 9U the mounds were 46'.

I would assume it would be 46'. That is where I have my 8yr old pitching from since he was 7.

Don't know if it varies but every where we played was 40' for 8u and 46' for 9u.
