Anyone have any suggestions on a end of year tournament for 8U in 2010? We are a first year team and will probably play AA/AAA this year. We wanted to take the kids to Disney but the cost may prevent us from doing so.. so where else can we go for a little less money?? Fund-raising has been hard this year compared to this summer for all-stars.
AAU 8U Disney tournament has been canceled for 2010, I talked with the Georgia AAU director he said there was only 2 teams that came in 2009 so they will not have it for 8U.
If the weather will cooperate, we would like to discuss a November 8u Tournament for those teams still playing. Maybe an end of the year Thanksgiving Tourney. the kids loving playing at our park. Contact me by email at kelleyknox@alltournamentplayerspark.com.
Now that the season is underway.. Can I get some info on where teams are going for their End of year tourneys? We were thinking about going to PCB but doesnt look like a big event worth the $$
We are going to either Grand Slam World Series 1st week in July or USSSA World Series in Orange Beach, Alabama....that is where I hear they are having the Coach Pitch World Series. Atlanta will host the Kid Pitch World Series last week in June based on what I have heard.
7/8u USSSA AA World Series Coach Pitch will be played in Chattanooga the week after July the 4th. It will be played at the very nice Brand New Complex Called the Summit....I understand its not a long trip but its a good tourney to end your summer schedule with.
