I ilke teaching leads, footwork etc but I also like when coaches teach them to know what the count is to the batter, and when possible offspeed pitches may be thrown.

Thoughts?

I think it is a good idea. Might increase your odds if you guess correct. Might get you busted if you guess wrong. Still important to get a good jump even if the count is a curveball count.

Love that idea (about the count). Thanks for reminding me. I was putting a practice plan together for this very topic and NEW I was leaving something out.

Finally a topic of value. They are so very rare. If I have to read one more topic on daddy ball, I'm going to close my account and start reading eteamz posts.

I like this post. So, I won't squawk about why it's in this forum.
