Solid AAA team focused heavily on developing the knowledge and skills necessary to excel at high school baseball is looking for three more players to fill out our final roster spots. Below are just a few of the things that our team offers:
Coaching: Professional coach who is a former D1 college player with many years of experience coaching 14-18 year-olds. Head coach will be assisted at practices by several other professional coaches focusing on different areas of specialization – pitching, catching, etc. Also planning to have assistance this fall from a couple of current minor league players.
Facilities: Practices/scrimmages held at top-tier field in East Cobb (not at the ECB complex) that is shared with only one other older travel team whose travel season doesn't get into full swing until the high school season is over. Unlimited access to indoor facility where practices will be held when there is inclement weather.
Practices: At least three (3) practices per week when not playing tournaments. At least two (2) practices a week during tournament weeks. Fall practices will be held from mid-August to mid-November. Spring practices will be held from mid-January to early July. Fall practices are not mandatory for kids playing football or another fall sport. We strongly encourage participation in as many other sports as possible outside of the spring baseball season.
Tournaments: 3-4 Fall tournaments and 11-12 Spring tournaments. Will play Perfect Game, Triple Crown, and other high-level local tournaments within a 25-mile radius of our home field.
Roster: We will not carry more than 14 players, and we would really prefer to carry 13. We do not believe in kids being pitchers-only before high school. The goal is to have every kid on the roster pitch and play at least two other positions.
Fees: Team fee will be dependent on the number of players on the final roster, but the fee will be about 1/3 to 1/2 of the cost of most other travel teams in the area with professional coaching (and almost none of those teams will have access to a comparable practice facility/home field).
We will be having an open tryout this Saturday morning at 9 AM at our home field. If it rains on Saturday morning, we will move the tryout to Sunday afternoon at 5 PM. For more information and to register for the tryout, please call 770-294-1242. |

What is your team's name, and where is your field? Who is your head coach? Is there a tryout fee? Thanks!

Thanks to everyone who came out this weekend. We'll still be evaluating players in the coming weeks. We're happy to answer all questions for people who are actively seeking a team.
We've already had a few people who asked, so I wanted to post it here. We're only looking for players who are in middle school. We don't want to have to wait on the JV season to be over before having all our kids at practice and tournaments. |
