2017 14-U Open Tryouts
ACWORTH WARRIORS/3:16Baseball
When: SUNDAY August 21st 2:00pm-4:00pm
Where: Acworth Sports Complex SENIOR FIELD
We are looking to add several team players with a solid CAN DO attitude Determination, Effort, Heart, Desire, & Hustle are a few words that describe the characteristics of the young men that will be asked to join our team. Our mission is to mentor and aid in the development of our young men on and off the playing field.
Priorities:
God, Family, Baseball.
We are a Christian led team and will focus on using the game as a tool in helping develop and teach your son lessons that will follow with them for life. We will not only focus on baseball but also on the Christian way of life.
Philosophy:
Facing and conquering challenges on the field carries over off the field in the way we address and overcome challenges in life. Winning games is ultimately a by product of our commitment and desire to succeed in all aspects of life. We expect to win with proper preparation. Practice is hard, games should not be. There are never excuses. We expect 100% from each and every player at all times and will sign a letter of commitment with each player to keep them fully accountable. Everyone has the opportunity to play, however, those with the strongest desire and heart typically find more time on the field. We are a travel team. Do not be misled.
Games:
Fall We anticipate 3-4 Sunday only tournaments.
Spring/Summer We will play 12-14 weekend tournaments .
End of Season Cal Ripken Tournament(June/July)
