14U Sandy Springs Longhorns Hold Early Tryout
August 8th at 10:30 at Morgan Falls Park. Skills Evaluation
* Fielding, Hitting, Catching, Pitching
August 9th at 1:30 is rainout day.
August 22nd and August 23rd Skills and Scrimmage Days.
14U Sandy Springs Longhorns will again be Managed by Mike Lewey.
2009 Highlights
* USTBA State Champions. Defeated Roswell Hornets, NG Barons, and Team Georgia to Earn Championship.
* USTBA Ranked #1 and 3rd Nationally.
* Won the Memorial Day Battle at Black Rock
* Record 29-18-1
The Longhorn Program is supported by SSYS, but we are not a feeder team for any High School. The Longhorns plan to carry a 13-14 man roster.
The Longhorn Teams are a Committed, Competitive, Developemental Organization. Performance at the 14U Level is part of this process.
The 2010 Longhorns will compete in many of the Top Local Tournaments in Triple Crown, USSSA, USTBA, and WWBA Perfect Game. They will also play pick up games against area teams to complete the schedule and conclude season with a Sanctioned World Series Event.

14U Sandy Springs Longhorn Tryout Reminder - Location Change
August 22nd @ 10:30 am at North Springs High School
August 23rd @ 1:00 at North Springs High School
* Please Park at Main Lot and Walk around Track to Baseball Field.
Directions Exiting 400 at Northridge(exit 6) go West to Hwy 9 Turn Left and follow 2 miles to Dalrymple Rd (turn left) and another left in parking lot. School is on Corner of Roswell Rd and Dalrymple.
Again the Longhorns will play a very competitive schedule playing in USSSA, Triple Crown, USTBA Association Tournaments as well as other Tournaments including those at East Cobb. |

UPDATE: AUGUST 22ND TRYOUT MOVED BACK TO MORGAN FALL #5 at 10:30,due to N. Springs Field Unplayable!
Please Park in first Parking Area on Right and Walk between Fields to Field #5!!!!! |

Due to Construction please park in 1st parking lot on right and walk back to Field #5!
Longhorns still have several open roster slots for players who are looking for an opportunity to compete at the Major Level.
