The 2016 19UGwinnett County Spartans will be hosting a tryout sometime in late January or early February. We compete in summer high school tournaments along with high profile tournaments with college and pro scouts in attendance such as Under Armour and Perfect Game tournaments.
Our season games begin late April and our State Tournament is usually mid July with the Dixie Major World Series (If we win State) being the last week in July. However, practice and conditioning will be mid February. Our home field is Shiloh High School located in Snellville, Ga.
We are looking to carry up to 24 players on one team, however, the team will be split into JV and Varsity levels to aid in player playing time. Our goal in order of importance is to 1)Make the individual player better as a athlete, person and teammate, 2) Win games, and 3) Helps players get exposure to college, semi pro, and professional scouts!

Try Outs for the 2016 season are going to be held at Shiloh High School on Saturday Jan. 30th at 3:30pm and Sunday at 2pm. There is NO SIGN UP FEE at the gate, however, sign ups through this post or through our email will prioritize you during the try out. In other words, those that sign up will be given a star next to their name as priorities.

Reminder that Try Outs will be Saturday Jan. 30th at 3:30pm and Sunday Jan. 31st at 2pm. Both try outs will be free, open tryouts located at Shiloh High School. Shiloh is located off of HWY 78 in Snellville, Ga.
We will be participating in up to 4 Out of State Nationally recognized tournaments with college and pro scouts in attendance, Up to 5 Varsity High School Tournaments located in State, a potential State Tournament with a possible World Series Berth as the State of Georgia with the National Championship airing on National Television.

Reminder that Try Outs are just over 2 weeks away! We have players coming from all over Georgia, including some from different States! We expect a huge turn out this year and we want you to be apart of it! Please email us at GwinnettBaseball15@yahoo.com to ensure a spot in our Try Out! Ofcoarse, our Try Out is free and unlike most teams, we will actually take the time to evaluate EACH AND EVERY PLAYER! Everybody has something to bring to the table so come on out!

Tomorrow (Saturday) and Sunday are Try Outs for Gwinnett County Baseball for the 2016 season! We are located at Shiloh High School in Snellville,Ga!
Make sure you are at try outs at 3:15 to properly stretch and warm up! Bring your A Game! If you can't make tomorrow, or don't like how you try out, come Sunday at 2PM. Looking forward to a great turn out! |

We would like to thank everyone who came out and tried out this past weekend! We have made some serious progress on our roster, with a great core of players from multiple high schools in the area!
However, we are still trying to fill in some gaps and add depth in multiple positions! Please call Head Coach David Zingarelli at (770) 842-9177 for private try outs. We will be holding private try outs the next few weeks, so make sure you jump on this opportunity! We have up to 4 spots left so act quick!
Coach Zing won the Dixie Major State Championship last season, and has stated that the core group of players from this past weekend is BETTER than the core from his State Team!! Don't miss out on this once in a lifetime opportunity! |
