I would like to thank all the teams that participated in the Spring Border Wars in Cedartown this weekend. You could not ask for a better weekend, good weather and great baseball.
The 9 under Georgia Dogs out of Rome Georgia edged out the Calhoun Crushers to take first.
The Cartersville Canes had to go through the Rome Rookies to get to the championship game against the Cedartown Bulldogs who had beat the North Georgia Hooks earlier in the day. The Canes took care of the 11 and under division with a decisive win over the Dogs.
The Georgia Thunder won the 13under division with wins over The Hobgood Canes and the Chattanooga Chiefs.
We would like to thank Tommy Reilly and PCYB for putting a great tournament !! The fields were beautiful !! We Started a little slow with the Bats but ended with 24 run output on Sundays 2 elimination round games .Winning the Tournament in the 13u age group . Not Bad for our first Tournament of the year .
