Looking for a primary catcher or SS. Only 1 spot available.

My name is Chris Atwell and I will be the Head Coach for the East Cobb A’s. As a coach, and former athlete, I know what it takes to be the best and the hard work it takes to achieve a goal. As a player I was a 4 year letterman in high school and was awarded a baseball scholarship to Southern A & M University in 1995. In my freshman year I was team Freshman of the Year and the SWAC Eastern conference Freshman of the Year. In 1999 my junior year I was team MVP, I made the All Conference team and All tournament team while also playing on all black college team that was the first to win a NCAA region game. After college I became a head coach on the college level for 6 years. In 2006 I was nominated for Head Coach of the Year in the SIAC. In the last five years, I have been the Head JV coach and Assistant Coach for Redan High School varsity team. I coached a Junior Varsity team to a 26-18 record while winning two divisions and taking them to the Final 4 in DeKalb County among other JV teams. I was the Assistant varsity coach with a team that made it to the Final Four of the State Playoffs in 2010, won the State Championship in 2013 and made another run for back -to- back champions in 2014, along with 5+ players drafted in that time frame. These achievements along with my ability to promote and market a successful program, leads me to believe that I will make a valuable contribution to your child. I know what coaches are looking for on the next level. So do not hesitate to email me to come out practice with us for a try-out. atwellatl@gmail.com
