The Midway Heat will be hosting the 2nd Annual "2009 Heat Wave" - a tournament for 10U, 11U, 12U & 13U teams April 17-19 at Dobbs Creek Park & City Park in Cumming, Georgia. We had 23 teams participate last year and hope to have the same turnout again this year. Each team will be guaranteed a minimum of 3 games (weather permitting). Team and individual trophies will be awarded to the 1st & 2nd place teams in each age group. Pools will be determined by random draw. Fields will be maintained between each game. Game results will be updated on the tournament website no later than 9:00PM each night. We will also be conducting a Skills Competition during the weekend. There will be a Home Run Derby, a Bunting Competition and a Baserunning Competition with trophies awarded to the winners of each competition. A "Coaches Lounge" with refreshments will be provided. Entry Fee will be $400. There will be NO GATE FEE. We hope you will come join us for a great weekend of baseball!
