15U-18U tryouts
Date: Nov 16th
Time: 2:00pm
Location: South Gwinnett HS
Tryout Cost: $50 bring a check to tryout
15U-17U for Summer/Fall
18U players will be placed on College Summer Team.
Details: Georgia Select will be running multi-age tryouts for Summer/Fall (15U-18U). We are looking for those who are looking to play competitively, professional training, and advising for college or professional baseball. We will be forming Travel Teams in each age group and also forming Premier Teams. Over the past 2 years we have collected 41 interviews with college coaches and have found 5 main consistencies among the coaches (D1, D2, D3, JuCo, and NAIA). We address these items in our player development and advising of players. As a current college coach, I know what players need to do to be recruited. Exposure is not enough anymore. Like college players and pro players, we need to address what HS players are missing in their game so they can get to the next level.
Season: May-Oct
Games played: 60-70 games (though key tournaments, showcases and scheduled games) Travel is kept to kept to a minimum to save you money.
Premier and Travel Teams: players from multiple areas are funneled together to make teams more competitive.
Practices: 2-3 days a week of training/practices. Locations include Southside of Gwinnett/Loganville, Westside of Gwinnett, Alpharetta
Advising: College Placement Advising for all HS players
Premier Team Costs: $2000-$3000 varies by age and pitcher only discount. Payment plan available.
Travel Team Costs: $2000-$2400 varies by age. Payment plan available.
If you are of the thought: “If I go to enough showcase events, someone will eventually see me”…Then you are not a fit for us and are being misled. I can share some information from college coaches with you and help you better understand what to do.
