The GA Hawks will be hosting tryouts for all interested players at Medlock Park field 6. The address to the park is 874 Gaylemont Cir Decatur GA 30033. 15U & 16u tryouts will be held Thursday 8/7 @ 6:00pm. . The GA Hawks are DHYS affiliates and have been picking up steam as a premier program over the last two summers. Currently there are five teams in the program that will compete on various levels in the travel circuit. The Hawks program is focused on player development, and exposure. On lower age levels the Hawks work to build the skill set necessary to help each player maximize his potential. On the higher levels the focus is on skill refinement, baseball IQ enhancement, and exposure to open the door to continue playing beyond high school.
The program includes 10 Coaches spread across the age levels. Some of which include former coaches from the East Cobb Braves. Among those coaches are two professional scouts, one coach with professional playing experience, and six coaches with college playing experience.
