Nelson Baseball School is pleased to announce the expansion of the youth program for the 2014/2015 season following the highly successful past two seasons. NBS will now be carrying a 10U, 11U, 12U, 13U, and two 14U teams.
The 13U program will feature one major team led by professional coaching. Catlan Kendrick will lead the NBS 13U team. Catlan was drafted in the 48th round out of Northgate High Schoool in the 2009 MLB draft. Catlan would decide to attend Kennesaw State University for 4 years. After his playing career was done, Catlan was a volunteer coach for the KSU owls, leading them to their first Super Regional. The 13U NBS team will practice out of West Cobb (Big Shanty). Our season will have a fall and spring schedule. During the fall we will practice on Wednesday's (indoor) and Sunday's (outside).
