The North Metro Thunder Travel Baseball team will be holding Open Tryouts for the upcoming 2014 Spring/Fall season.
This spring the NM Thunder will participate in the 10u GGBL spring league. We are continuing to expand the program from our first season and there is tremendous opportunity for your son to grow in this program. We strive to focus on three main points:
1. Build character in each young man through respect of the game, teammates, opponents, umpires and their parents
2. Focus on baseball fundamentals so that each player has a chance to make his high school team
3. Teach each young man to be the type of person others want to follow for the right reasons once they arrive in high school
If you are interested in playing for one of our teams please plan to attend one or both of the following tryout dates:
Saturday, January 11, 2014 - 10 am - 12:00 noon at North Metro Baseball Fields (behind Gwinnett Braves stadium)
Saturday, January 18, 2014 - 2:00 pm - 4:30 pm at North Metro Baseball Fields
Please send an email to afedele17@hotmail.com if you plan to attend the tryouts and on which date you plan to attend. We will only be accepting the first 25-30 players for each tryout date so that all players can get fully evaluated. There is NO fee for the tryout.
Highlights of the North Metro Thunder travel baseball program:
- 18 game GGBL schedule with playoffs
- Teaching fundamentals at every practice and giving each player drills to work on at home
- Individual player lessons by former College player and Doyle Baseball instructor and no additional charge.
- Learn any particular position with fundamentals and drills on that position
- Low travel baseball cost ($250-300 for entire season including uniforms and equipment). We do not want money to be a reason for a fimly not to play
- Practice field available without any additional cost to the team
- Catchers and other equipment available
- NO games on Sundays. North Metro believes on honoring the Lord's day. Not only do we teach this to our players but we exercise it during our season to give our families time to rest with thier family |

The North Metro Thunder 10u open tryouts this Saturday, January 18th from 2:00-4:30 pm. Dress accordingly for the weather.

| North Metro Thunder Tryouts are still on for this Saturday, January 18th from 2:00-4:30 pm. Weather will be in the low 40's so please dress appropriately. |
