We are looking for a AA or AAA team in West Cobb or Paulding for Spring/Summer. He is a good well-rounded player and fundamentally sound in everything. Good eye for the strike zone. He isn't going to hit it over the fence but he hits for average and gets a lot of doubles and draws a lot of walks. He is good at all in-field positions, and he pitches. He has good command and throws a decent 4 seam and 2 seam/splitter as a change right now. Although he is still working on velocity, but throws strikes and doesn't walk many batters. Very good defensively. He throws and bats right-handed.
We've played All-Stars (A team) so experienced in tournament play, and now looking for the next level since he's grown beyond rec-ball and not being challenged much there. He is very easy going, very coach-able, and gets along with everyone. You don't have to worry about any drama. :). And he has a good sense of the game.
I've coached also and am willing to help out in any way needed.
Just to clarify, he's looking for a AA (first preference) or low, soon-to-be AAA team, not Major or anything that high up. He's not ready for that yet. Thanks!
