My son will turn 10 in July. We have been playing reckball since he was six. He moved up here from FL in 2010. My son started kid pitch in fall of 2012. He struck out only once the whole season. This fall was a little different. He struck out 5 times. He has played every position minus catcher since he has been playing. He has a very strong arm. He has not played all stars due to he travels to Florida to see his father. This will not be an issue if he is on a travel team. We are looking for a try out in Cobb County for this fall the more the merrier!

Sandy Plains Travel Teams will be hosting a Tryout/Clinic for the 9U-14U age groups for the 2013-2014 season at Harrison Park (adjacent to Lassiter HS). The tryout will be held in a clinic type setting and run by the professional instructors from Sandy Plains Baseball Academy. Players will be put through three hours of drills and baseball situations to showcase their skills in front of evaluating coaches for each age group. Sign in will begin 1 hour prior to the start times listed below. There is NO COST for attending this clinic. Please register at (registration will be available July 1st):

The 2013/2014 10U Powder Springs Indians will be hosting tryouts on July 28th from 1:00 to 3:00pm at Powder Springs Park (West Cobb COunty) on the Mustang Field.
The Indians are coming off a successful season as a 9U AAA team, ending with a 2nd place finish at State and 1st place finish in the rain shortened Panama City Beach World Series.

RBI baseball academy is having tryouts:
7/21 - @ RBI facility 2-6pm
7/28 - @ North Cobb High School 2-530pm
We have just come off a successful season placing 2nd in USSSA State AA and 2nd in rain shortened Grand Slam World Series in Panama City.
