Dates:
• Friday 7-27-12 thru Sunday 7-29-12.
• Registration will end 7-24-2012 and pool play brackets will be out 7-25-2012.
• Based on the number of team registrations, pool play may begin on Friday. Where possible, we will attempt to play all pool games on Saturday and bracket games on Sunday.
Age groups:
• We will hold the tournament for the first two age groups that fill up.
• 6U-12U. Teams may be organized teams or just pick up teams, but birth certificates will be needed to verify players age, if challenged during the tournament.
• The Back to School Bash is for All Star or Travel teams (A, AA, AAA).
• There will be a 4 team minimum per age group to “make”.
• There will be a 3 game minimum (two pool / single elimination bracket).
Location:
• The Back to School Bash will be hosted at Boling Park in Canton, GA.
Fee:
• $375.00 per team. No gate fees.
General Game Info:
• Coaches are required to provide 2 new game balls for each game.
• Coaches must have proof of insurance for their team on hand at tournament.
• USSSA rules for 11U and above.
• Dizzy Dean Rules for 10U and below.
• Games will be 1:10 in pool play. 1:20 for bracket play for 6U-8U.
• Games will be 1:30 in pool play. 1:40 for bracket play for 9U-12U.
• Championship will go 6 innings unless there is a run rule in game.
• Umpires will be provided
• Concession stands will be open for DRINKS ONLY.
• Batting cages will be open as well as bullpens.
• Individual trophies will be awarded to Champions and Runner-ups.
• MVP trophy will also be awarded.
