Congratulations to the East Cobb Astros on winning the Kennesaw Shootout! East Cobb played a tough game to win the championship over the Georgia Roadrunners 6-3. It was a very competitive tournament with some of the best competition in the state of Georgia. The results were: 1. East Cobb Astros 2. Georgia Roadrunners 3. Kennesaw Xtreme & East Cobb Stallions 5. Gresham Park Braves, Georgia Sluggers, Eastside Storm & East Cobb Longhorns
Thanks to John Hayman with the Xtreme coordinating and hosting a first class tourny. We hope everyone enjoyed the competition and had fun and we hope to see everyone back again next year!
As always the Kennesaw folks did a great job of running a good tournament. As it turned out this may have been the toughest group of teams at one event this year.
There were many good games. The Roadrunners feel fortunate to have reached the finals after having to go through South Forsyth War Eagles, Eastside Storm, and the EC Stallions in the bracket. Then have to play against a very good Astros team. WOW!
Congratulations to the Astros who had to go through the Longhorns and Xtreme to get to the finals. WOW again!
