today concluded the final day of play for the 13u league tournament where we had 15 of the league's 26 teams in the field.
in the semi-final games the west cobb bats beat the milton eagles 7-3 while in the other semi-final the hornets edged the cougars 5-4 in nine innings.
in the championship game the roswell hornets overcame an outstanding pitching performance and outlasted the west cobb bats 7-6.
on a personal note i want to thanks the coaches, kids and teams who came to hembree park for a week of great baseball.
