This should be a great tournament. Although it's a pool game, I am really looking forward to seeing the outcome of the EC Astros/SF Giants game. IMHO the two best hitting teams (along with the EC Braves) that we've faced all year.

Let me get this straight. Piranhas have to drive from Tampa area, battle traffic and play at 8:00 on Friday night? Welcome to the ATL boys! Could of at least given them a 10 and 2 on Saturday. Cmon man as coach would say!
Renegades must be resting up for the trip next weekend. Hobgood, Raiders and SF Giants look to have some tough pool play games. Good luck to all teams. |

You think that's bad. How about the 9u Angels (8u last year) fly out to Yerba Arizona for the 8u Cecil Fielder WS and they get a 10pm Friday night game that starts late so they effectively start a game at 1:30am Atlanta time!
Only against the then #1 rank 8u team in the country...How's that for some home cookin!
Needless to say the Atlanta kids struggled a little that night (morning)!

You got it!!! We (Renegades) are trying to get healthy after having to play with 9 all weekend in Kingsport. It was tough being down our starting catcher (concussion) and leadoff hitter!! We hope he will be healthy next weekend.
Good luck to all teams playing this weekend. Looks like a great tourney with some great pool play matchups. Wish we were playing, but needed the break!!

Looks like the SF Giants are the real deal pulling off a 4-4 tie with the Astros. It is good to see another team thrown into the mix on the weekends. With all the hype around the Elite Gamers this should be a good test to see if they can live up to their billing as a top 5 team in the state. Or maybe we will see a break out weekend for 643 or Mayhem. Good Luck to all. quote:

Don't let them stop you from posting. Some will attempt to suck you into drama but obviously you can handle it..lol! Shoot, I thought "GoBlue" was a Michigan fan. :-) MLB should not be the reason that people don't get along, much less 10 year-old baseball. I wonder how many kids headed to Auburn would choose a day in the pool over high-pressure baseball games. I'm just saying...

Just a little ole travel team from the southside? 4-1 in Atl SNIT, GA/FL Showdown Champions, shooting up in the rankings of our Local 10U expert pollsters :) It sounds like you guys are playing some good baseball, just haven't seen you guys much on the northside this year. Good luck in Auburn!

Good luck to you and the SPT bunch, maybe we'll be lucky enough to match up again so we can give you a better game than last time. If we do, just hope it's somewhere deep in the tournament. | GoBlue.... Appreciate the good luck sentiments, we definitely will need it with the strength of teams in this SNIT. Again, we are just a group of gritty 10 yr old kids that I am trying to get to understand the game of baseball. We have just been fortunate to be able to put together a few decent tournaments and beat some pretty good teams. Been to the Northside plenty...my gas budget is blown! Lol. Oh, btw...there's only one shade of blue...Kentucky Wildcat Blue baby!!! |

Here's the thing...I know a good team when I see one and you guys are as good as we have played. Unless it's a very clean and well played game, a one game score is irrelevant in baseball most of the time. Heck, you didn't play your best game against us and it was still close.
Let's make a deal...if we play each other late in the tournament we both have to use up all the "tricks up our sleeves" before we face each other. Deal? :-)

Is there a difference between Gamers RWB and Gamers Red? We played RWB earlier this year, have there been roster adds since then? Great team, just curious of the difference if there is one.
Speaking of, we hope to show off our new player this weekend;) I wish his travel basketball team well in their final tourney, but hope he's able to help us make a Sunday run if we make bracket.

Well they are both real...but we had a player out during the Boneyard so we picked up an arm. The one who pitched against you twice at the Boneyard will not be playing with us this weekend...he's playing with his 9U team this weekend but we picked up his older brother (10-year-old) who will be there this weekend. :-) Just Kidding! The one that you saw in Kingsport will be there this weekend. LOL |

It's the same team. USSSA = Gamers Red, Triple Crown = Gamers RWB. We have picked up a kid for this weekend and beyond, which will put us at 9. One of our "regulars" couldn't make it to Auburn. |

HS- deal! Again, appreciate the kind words. Bottom line is they are still 10 year old boys and most of the time you just don't know what team will show up. Good luck to you guys this weekend, class act and class team and enjoy seeing you guys do well.
Phattso - Gamers RWB and Gamers Red are the same team. I had to stick with what we were registered as in USSSA (Gamers Red) and I sign up for TC tournaments as Gamers RWB (red/White/Blue). Good luck to you guys as well this weekend. |
