Would anyone be interested in a 12u wood bat tournament as a warm-up the weekend before Battle of the South starts? I've talked with Tim Gaines of Turn2Tournaments and they are willing to make this happen on the newly renovated Hobgood Park Adult Softball fields. I'm working on some fields in our baseball complex as well.
Initially, we had planned to be off this weekend but we really need to get some wood bat experience under our belt before taking the field for the big tournament. Please let me know if your team would be interested, we need to move on this quickly.
