Checked out the www.usssa.com/sports/TournamentSeedingReport.asp?TournID=806181&Sort=points list of teams today and saw a pretty good list of major teams, including the ECB Astros, ECB Longhorns, & GA Grays from Georgia. Looking forward to seeing other teams and seeing how we stack up.

Grays dropped out today but there are still some great teams in this one, the big boy from Sandy Plains will be the Cincy team so watch out for them. Hopefully, we won't see the Astros till the end since their playing on another level.

Looks like a blind draw. The point system would have been more fair to set pools.

The South Carolina teams were dominate in pool play. The Pool draw was done by USSSA points.

We played very badly on Saturday against the crush and the venom. Had to play a play in bracket game on Sat. night. Won that and pushed the Venom on Sunday, forcing them to win the game in the last bat. We are proud of our boys for not quitting. Nine of our boys are from the same rural county (pop. 65,000). We choose travel to play ball, not travel to be on a team. In reality, we are probably not a true major team, but don't tell our boys that (or them mamma's for that matter).

Looks like the big guy delivered for Cincy. SC Crush must be the real deal as they dominated the Stros. Thought Longhorns would go a little farther but it looks like their games were close.

Did Cincy win the tournament. The last report I seen had 4 teams with 4-0 records. Did tournament get rained out?

The SC CRUSH & The Venom out of South Carolina made it to the Championship and game was called due to lightning strikes. The SC CRUSH are the real deal and this team is loaded with talent.

Crush is the real deal. Cincy game was close till late. Cincy had to use borrowed players to get to semis. Big boy only could throw into 2nd. Crush came back and blew it open before game was called. Venom rallies from big deficit in last inning. Not sure if Bulls were trying to save pitching but they should have won.

The Crush Cincy game was a great game. Cincy had 2-0 lead top 5 with two outs and Crush started hitting, Crush took the lead 3-2 when Cincy turned a double play but ump called a dead ball. Cincy tried to protest but director was called over and would not allow allow it. Crush then exploded after that. Both teams can mash, but this was a pitchers duel. Cincy coach brought out the rule book to show the ump and he tossed him and called the game. Sad way for ump to ruin a great game he just didn't understand the rule. Both teams are loaded. Cincy team had five or so kids in their dugout in casts, guess they have had a lot of injuries. I think a few of the GA kids play for them a lot because I saw the big boy play for Cincy team in Texas at the Little Majors WS Banditos Black beat Cincy 2-1 in the Championship the big boy pitched and was lights out. Also hit a monster bomb. He has got to be 6'6. Crush also had a kid that was about 6'3 that started the game, a big lefty.
