Four teams from Ga.earned their way to play four teams selected from Fla. in the Ga./Fla. Showdown. The Bulldog Baseball, East Cobb Titans, East Cobb Astros and Atlanta Angels square off against the 9U RiverHawk Black, Young Guns, Meteors and Central Florida Wolverines. Each team plays the four teams from the other state and the best two advance to a two out of three series for the championship. Any thoughts? Anyone seen these Fla. teams?

Good Luck to all the Georgia Teams!!! I know you will make us proud.
I will go out on a limb here and take the 9U Atlanta Angels to win it all!

Don't really call that going out on a limb......I am willing to say, that I don't see the Angels giving up more than 3 runs a game!

East Cobb Astros won thier way on to the Championship and lost a heartbreaker to the Meteor's 12-11 in the bottom of the 6th inning. The Championship series was shortened to a best of one due to Saturday's weather. In my book, we need one more game to hash this out, as the Astros beat the Meteors in the first game of pool play. Can anyone say rubber match?? Congrats to all the Georgia teams in representing the state well.
