I have been looking at the USSSA site and it seems like they have been doing well. The best two I have seen so far have been Dulins Dodgers and the Music City Tornados.

I saw both of these teams during the Super NIT and they both looked good but I think overall Georgia 13U baseball is much deeper than Tennessee but that is just my opinion. The only thing that most of you can say that Papa has been consistent about other than being loyal to his Bandits is my respect for the high caliber Georgia teams that we have had the great privilege of playing for so long. |

I completely agree both teams are very good and i look forward to seeing them in the future and from what i have heard the were both competitive with the Georgia jackets national, which is a surprise to me considering the caliber of that team. I have heard that Dulins Dodgers are a more of a team based off of hitting and defense, while the Music City Tornadoes are kind of an all around team with great pitching at the center. |

Living here in ET I would have to totally agree with your opinion. It is amazing to me how many quality teams that are in your area. The Dulin Dodgers [old outlaws] were very good last year and I hear they are improved. Here in East Tennessee, Cherokee Baseball was the best [imo] last year. They have broken up for 2012, and I hear the RBI Rangers will be the team to beat this year. |

Knox Stars should make a run at it this year. Combined Cherokee with several very good players. No slight to the RBI Rangers but they will have to prove it before I believe. With that being said, Georgia baseball is much deeper than Tennessee baseball. |

Well, the RBI Rangers played in the Triple Crown this weekend in East Cobb and lost their first game in elimination to the ECB Luck. IIRC, if it is the correct team, they went 1-2 this weekend. |

Correct team and I may have over estimated them. I think it was their first weekend playing so they will get better. Knoxville Stars had surprise showing. Friend of mine on the Rangers said they picked up two lefties from the old Cherokee team that have really helped them and had a great pitcher come back to their team from a couple of years ago. Believe he played for the Gamers last year. They had a nice weekend. |

Don't worry about RBI, they will be fine. I'm surprised to hear about the Knox Stars. They have been down for some time. How were the East Cobb and 643 teams. They have been loaded in the past. Did one of them win the whole thing? Did the N. GA Banditos play? I heard they were good at 13U. |

Stars were down last year only. They took the best players and combined with Cherokee. Not having Coach Jay will hurt imo but they should be the strongest team in Tenn once again. |

From what I saw this weekend, not sure many teams can hit with that bunch from the Knox Stars. If their pitching holds up they will be a very dangerous team |

From what I hear this was the Stars first Tournament of the Year. Watch out for them once they gel. They can really hit throughout the lineup from top to bottom. |
