Maybe a 1% chance (at the most)...you will see...

Georgia Teams went South to the north florida super NIT and didn't fair so well. Will the Florida teams travel to North Georgia and the Super NIT and take home the hardware?
Yes, a Florida team will win this Super NIT.

The results are in. Based on my review and staff evals Team Florida looked dominant and has rebounded from the Lake City SNIT hangover. Next up is EC Braves looking like they are in end of spring form. CFGs did not have the dominant victories and may have a let down due to the SNIT win in Lake City. Could it be the executive type flight schedule for the players, coaches and families is wearing on them?!
Well run tourney thus far!!!!!
Look for a a column in Baseball America next month.
IMHO:
1. EC Braves 2. Team Florida 3. Stealth Bombers 4. Central Fla Gators

Great tourney and Team Fla looked like they were on all cylinders. Looks as if the Stealth brought in some pitching and offensive help and much improved thier team in that respect. CFG looked strong but lacked the cohesiveness of a team that is really a team that practices together. Congrats to Team Fla on a solid tourney and to the State of GA with a balloon of placings after the first two.
Got some great quotes and pics of the players at mult age levels and the coaches. First class tourney year after year. |

The final four in this tournament all played on Friday. Central Florida Gators, Team Florida,East Cobb Rays, and East Cobb Braves. Hmmmmm ...... I think there is something to that. |

Just like Sunday follows Saturday huh! If you play on Friday you make it to the final four on Sunday, it's simple as that. |

Rudeb, many other great teams played Friday as well. Not sure I understand your point?

With the exception of the Rays (not taking anything from them -- great job this weekend), do you honestly think it would have mattered when the Braves, Gators, or Team Florida played? You're kidding yourself if you do. There are a few others that with the right break or a better game could have played on Saturday and still ended in the "final four". Heck, four or five teams could have started playing Saturday evening at 8:00 pm and still ended in the Top 2.
There was some serious baseball going on this weekend. It was a real joy to watch these 12Us in action. There's a group of great 12U major teams that can challenge any other team on any given Sunday, and then there are the top echelon who can show up on any day, at any time, and under any circumstances, and give us a show.
I was really pulling for a Georgia team. However, I was really glad to see Team Florida take it over the Gators. Saw some things there that gave the game we love a bad name.

BballNut you are right! The Stealth Bombers won it last year and they played all their pool games on Saturday. I guess their is not any advantage of playing one game on Friday. Some great baseball this weekend!!!!!
