The results of the 12U NWBA Spring Classic:

USSSA Division

1st Place - North Gwinnett Bulldogs (Willis)
2nd Place - North Georgia Barons
3rd Place - Powder Springs War Eagle / Hopewell Vipers

AAU Division (rain shortened)

1st Place - Powder Springs Longhorns
2nd Place - Creekview Grizzlies
3rd Place - Kennesaw Bandits
4th Place - Alpharetta A's

Highlights: 1) Bulldogs win Championship game 8-0 against the Barons
2)Bruce Kirkpatrick pitches NO Hitter striking out 9, but 2 errors and 2 walks in second inning allow Barons to score 3 runs and win 3-2

is aau and usssa two different tournaments or two divisions of the same tournament?

The tournament teams were placed in two brackets after pool play.
The teams in the USSSA Division had a pool record of:
North Gwinnett Bulldogs 2-0
North GA Barons 2-0
Powder Springs 1-1
Hopewell Vipers 1-1
